As many of you who follow our work know we undertook a major reshuffle at the top of the organisation in August. As a result a new Advisory Group was set up with the objective of getting us back to a place where we represented fans.
We are delighted to be going back to a place where we share the minutes of our Board meetings with our members. The minutes of the first meeting of the new advisory board are below.
A full schedule of Board meetings will be posted on our website and we will be delighted to invite up to two visitors to each meeting.

PG gave an overview of the organisation and a thanks to all the previous contributors.
Our objectives remain as follows:-
Actions ; Group to review bios and responsibilities on the website Organisation – Scottish Football Supporters Association – SFSA
All those who were in attendance shared their backgrounds and gave an overview of how they might be able to help the organisation.
The Board will engage with the Engine room where we have key volunteers that we are mentoring. A full list of the current activities will be shared with the board via email in the next few days. Most of the activity is in the public domain but some remains in development.
The most important aspect of our activity remains The Review of the Game and the Scottish Government Round Table meetings . The next scheduled meeting will be on November 3rd in Edinburgh. We will be represented at that meeting by Simon Barrow, Dave McPherson and Alan Ramsay. SEE The Review of the Game – Scottish Football Supporters Association – SFSA
Groups – we will have some small working groups for example Tartan Army, commercial etc which will allow for detailed discussions on key topics. ALL
A list of projects will be distributed to all in the group to ensure everyone is up to speed with the activity and to give an indication of how they might contribute to various projects. ALL
Group to ensure they are connected to all the Social Media channels that we use and that they encourage as many colleagues and friends to follow us too. ALL
Suggested dates for next two Board meetings will be circulated to allow us to get us in sync. These will be by Zoom in October and December in Edinburgh. Everyone to respond. Going forward we will have these all in the diary for 2026 ALL
