SFSA BLUE PLAQUES LAUNCH FIND OUT MORE
Date: 10th January 2026
We always believe in supporting our members and when those members so happen to be fitba comedians we are double excited!
Scotland’s World Cup build‑up is about to get a whole lot funnier. Comedians and former
football coaches Kirsty Lynch and Amanda Hursy are teaming up to launch Double
Trouble: Road to the World Cup, a brand‑new comedy‑meets‑football series kicking off live
in Glasgow at the iconic Blackfriars Basement on 17th January 2026.
Blending sharp Scottish humour with the passion, pride, and pure unpredictability of
following the national team, Double Trouble brings audiences a fresh, inclusive, and
brilliantly chaotic take on Scotland’s journey to the World Cup. Expect storytelling, sideline
disasters, live chats with legends of the game, and daft challenges.
Don’t miss the show
‘A great Storyteller’ ★★★★ The Scotsman
‘Amanda is seriously funny! She is uncompromising, fearless and quite brilliant . A very
talented stand up and comparisons must be made to the late, great Janey Godley
★★★★1/2 -One4Review
‘Packed with hilarious original material -Keeps the pace up perfectly and there’s never a
lull in the flow, which is something few comedians can maintain over an hour.
