Final Call for the Scottish March of the Day
This weekend is crucial to the Scottish March of the Day.
At the start if next week, we will send through the order for all the t-shirts for everyone involved. This means that anyone wishing to register to join our army of ex-pro footballers walking around 22 Scottish football clubs with the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation in support of the MND Community everywhere.
Clubs on and off the route have been incredibly supportive and all those we have spoken to so far are ready to welcome is for a pitch side photograph on our arrival. A humbling development is the numb er of teams who have stepped up as sponsors through the clubs themselves or through their Community Trusts / Foundations. That ever growing list includes Motherwell, Spartans, Cumbernauld United, Montrose, Ross County, Clyde, Elgin City, Bradford City, Brechin City and Peterhead and we expect more to be added to that list over the weekend.
The PFA Scotland are backing the event as a main sponsor along with Portal Security Ltd. A host of ex-pro footballers including John McGinlay, Andy Walker, Filipe Morais, Kevin Tindal, Mark Perry, Jamie Lennox, Barry Thompson, Andy Gibson, Nathan Clarke and Stuart Barlow are joining the walk.
If you want to join us, grab you mates, pick any of the day time stages, walk as far as you like and come and join us and help us raise awareness of this horrific disease.
Register at https://www.redwoodevents.co.uk/register-for-smotd/
If your company wants to be part of this event, there is still chance to register as a stage sponsor. There are 6 stages left.

Registration for both closes officially on Sunday (September 14). The reality is that it will probably be Minday when it closes. No later though. Please don’t miss out.
