If Scottish football did Eurovision, where would some of our songs place?

SWEDEN won Eurovision last weekend, with the British entry coming in a measly 24th. Just 5 points, but that is hardly a big shock given our European popularity.

This got us to thinking, where would some of Scottish football’s songs rank in their own Scotvision contest? Here is our take on the best and worst of Scottish chants and songs. Be warned, though, your eardrums are about to be —with some of our favourites or not so favourite!

1st place: ‘Loch Lomond’ – Tartan Army

2nd place: ‘Sunshine on Leith’ – Hibernian

3rd place: ‘Here we go…in a row’ – Celtic and Rangers

4th place: ‘Keiran MacDonald had a farm’ – Clyde

5th place: ‘The Hearts Song’ – Hearts

6th place: ‘Eastenders Theme’ – Dunfermline

7th place: ‘Stand Free’ – Aberdeen

8th place: ‘Paper Roses’ – Kilmarnock

9th place: ‘The Partick Thistle Song’ – Partick Thistle

10th place: ‘The Jailender Song’ – Ross County

11th place:  ‘Cup Final song’ – Dundee United

12th place: ‘Dundee’ – Dundee
