No Hampden Park invitation for the national fans organisation

At Hampden Park today there is a gathering of the “football family” invited by the SFA to discuss the big issues and to share best practice. Sadly there was no invitation for the National Fans organisation to participate. As the late great Bill Shankly said, ” Football is about the Holy Trinity, The Players, the Manager and the fans – nothing else matters”. Those who run our game needÂ
to understand that fans are the lifeblood of our game and that as key stakeholders it is essential that we play a full and active part in how our game is run. As the recent independent research indicated the SFA & SPFL have very real credibility issues and having your national fans organisation with nearly 71,000 members excluded from your “football family” is like having Christmas without Santa!
