BILLY BREMNER MEMORIAL JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN
Date: 24th December 2023
2024 – Year of the fan?
As our campaign for a fan led review of Scottish Football continues to gather momentum, we ask those who matter most, YOU, to help with our push to replicate the introduction of an independent regulator in football seen in England, in Scotland! To say the Football authorities are concerned about this is an understatement.
The SFA CEO Ian Maxwell attended a meeting at Holyrood where he was questioned by the Health Social Care and Sport Committee. He was dismissive of the Scottish Football Alliance Review paper( and by default everyone who contributed to it) made it clear that as far as he could see everything in Scottish Football is fine and all fans need is education.
At the SFSA are disappointed but not surprised by the complete lack of respect shown to ALL the fans who contributed to the Review by Ian Maxwell. There will be a full response to the misinformation that was put in the public domain by the SFA at this meeting in the coming days.
We would encourage ALL fans to watch this interview here ( scroll to 10.40)

Meanwhile we now ask Scottish football supporters who believe that key decisions should be made by those who know our game best, to get in touch with their MSP and let their voices be heard!
The review has been extremely promising so far and it is time to put this into action! but we need you to contact your MSP to get then to be part of the debate .
