OFFSET YOUR WORLD CUP TRAVEL WITH GREENERTRAVEL

The Scottish Football Supporters Association ( SFSA) were delighted to announce the first winner of the eco fan of the year for season 2025/26. Sponsored by the Greener Travel Company where fans can offset their carbon footprint, the award went to St.Mirren fan Ian McLaren who has been instrumental in driving change at the club with his post match clean ups and his commitment to drive fan recycling . Ian said, “ It is very much a team effort at the club and I am very much honoured to receive it on behalf of our many volunteers.”
This is a new award tied into a new sponsorship with the Greener Travel Company who’s Director David Nicholson said, “ We are delighted to support football fans as they try to promote sustainability in football and Ian is a great example of just how some small changes a can make a huge difference”
