SFSA and Edinburgh University’s sports management course are now in the process of recruiting our next wave of recruits for a placement to the SFSA’s Engine Room. Undergraduates join the national fans organisation for a 6 week placement where they are mentored by two senior SFSA Directors.
The projects and research are valuable contributions to the output of the SFSA and continue to grow the strength and the resources of what is a volunteer run organisation.
This year sees the 8th year of the partnership and over 25 students have benefited from the programme, with many of the students staying on with the Engine Room to continue their learning after the initial placement period has ended. One of the other major benefits has seen many of the students find full time placements at clubs in England and Scotland , which is something that we are very proud of.
Edinburgh University said ,”The support you have provided for our students has always been excellent, and we are appreciative to know we have such a strong organisation that our students can work with.” Pippa Chapman Edinburgh University.
