SFSA and #HerGameToo Female Fan Survey Results

 

Below you will find the results from our female fan survey in partnership with Her Game Too. This survey aimed to examine the experiences of female Scottish football fans and how they feel attending games and watching in a social setting, discussing Scottish football and how well they feel their club represents them.

  • Take complaints seriously
  • Punish offenders accordingly ( Season ticket revoked, stadium ban etc.)
  • Engage with male supporters on the issue
  • Better promotion of the women’s game
  • Education for younger future fans

19. Is there anything you would like to see clubs do to better represent female fans?

Most Common Answers:

  • Better and more available facilities such as toilets
  • More female merchandise and better fitting kits
  • Female fan representatives
  • better female board representation and wider female-filled roles
